Rose Roberts was surprised when presented the Kentucky Coronel award by Mayor Joe Cash and Judge Steve Mays, on her 80th birthday celebration.
In the book, Experiencing God, is two Summaries I would like to share with you; (Doing God’s Will) God is far more interested in a love relationship with you then He is in what you can do for Him. His desire is for you to love Him. As He fills you with His presence, He will guide you to do things. But even as you do those things, He will be the One at work through you to accomplish His purposes. He is all you need. The Christ in you is your way. He is your ”map” When you follow His leadership one day at a time, you will always be right in the middle of God’s will for your life. (God is at work around you) God is always at work in the world. He is working to bring about world redemption through His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus described the way he knew and did the will of His Father. “Because the Father loved His Son, He showed the Son what he was doing. “ Jesus watched to see where the father was working and joined Him. You can follow that same pattern by watching to see where God is at work. When He shows you, join Him in His work. Focus your attention on God’s call to an assignment rather than on your spiritual gifts, personal desires, personal skills, abilities, or resources. Once you understand God’s call to an assignment, obey Him and He will work through you to accomplish His purpose.
We want you to know there are not enough words to express how much we appreciate your prayers, support and hard work. It is you being obedient to God, that has made this an amazing year so far. I can’t wait to see what you too have in store for the rest of the year.
