Typical Mission Day
What your days are like are really up to you.
There never is a completely typical day, but here is an example of what a day at CMO looks like when you are working on a mission project. The day is similar whether working on a building or with a day camp or VBS.
6:30 AM Wake up
7:00 Devotion time by Cindy Feller or your leader
7:30 Family-style breakfast; pack sack lunches
8:00 Check in to organize for work
8:30 On the road
9:00 Arrive at mission work site
4:00 to 5:00 PM Arrive back at CMO campus
5:30 Family-style dinner
6:00 Sharing the day
s experiences

6:30 Camp projects
7:00 Free evening
(we recommend local attractions)

A sample construction day would be a major home repair including, but not limited to construction, roof replacement, 'winterization,' rehabilitation, or other repairs as needed and are within the capability of the volunteer service team.

A sample day of kids' camp
would include picking up children, registration, teaching, music, art, playing games, lunch, and offering clothing (if needed).  We recommend taking the kids swimming at Natural Bridge State Park; going to a pool is a rare event for them and highly treasured!
